I came across it in an article and loved it. I went on to Google her and it turns out she has many great quotes, and was quite an amazing person in her own right.
What a sweetie! It reminds me of an old children’s story about babies that were hidden in a garden, but I can’t for the life of me remember what the name of it was…
I still remember the day I took it. I was gardening in the back yard and he was lying on a blanket beside me and I suddenly thought, this would make a great photo. So I plopped him into the mums and as you can see he was looking at me like, what the heck are you doing mommy😊
lol…that’s priceless😊

Thanks, Shannon. That’s my youngest, Christian, in perennial mums. He’s 9 years old now.

It’s so easy to start thinking about what we have to do next and forget to live in the moment .Thanks for this reminder!

Yes, sometimes when I think about finding meaning in life I think it’s in the moments, not waiting around for big, exciting things to happen.

I will! I’ve been trying to think of it all day. But the photo of your son reminded me so strongly of that. And he is adorable, by the way!

What a great picture – he doesn’t look too sure about his situation with all that greenery but I’m sure you were ready to pick him up! So sweet!

Yes, he was definitely wondering what the heck mommy was up to, but it was only a quick few seconds and now we have that priceless photo.
