  1. How true..happiness is so good for us. And you know, on our recent trip to Ireland, my husband and I got such a kick out of all the “mind the gap” signs we saw around the trains. It just sounds so much better than “Watch your step when boarding and exiting the train” which is how we would have said it here. But I like “mind your head” even better, because it can be taken more than one way.

    • That’s why I liked it, too, because of the multiple meanings. I didn’t take buses when we went to Ireland back in 2000, but I loved getting on the trains in London and hearing the woman with her British accent say “mind the gap”. 😊
